This was one the finalists projects in the international ‘Next J.’ Jewellery Talent Contest 2016, organized by VICENZAORO, and Fiera di Vicenza. With the theme: ‘Jewellery and the Journey’.
A prototype developed in collaboration with Chantecler Capri was shown as part of an exhibition at Museo del Gioiello,in Vicenza, Italia.
These pieces of jewellery are thought to evoke the beauty of the Monarch butterfly. And at the same time, it’s free spirit, their approach to ‘journey’. An approach humans should imitate: a borderless world, to travel light, focusing on the destination, on what’s ahead. Without forgetting where we come from.
